I think that we are all benefited to accompany his life by his work. Truly a visionary and a creative genius. His keynotes presentations has showed the globe this amazing human being. An inspiring mentor that changed the world by his brain. So rest in peace Steve Jobs. Here is a quote from him:

"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to… love what you do. — Your time is limited. Don't waste it living someone else's life"

An interesting typographic project that talks about Arabic and Latin Typefaces and finding ways to integrate them for different usages.

A documentary film directed by Jan de Bruin and edited by Ans Kanen.

Description:

" Shot on several locations in Amsterdam, Dubai (UAE), Sharjah (UAE), Pingjum (Friesland), and Doha (Qatar), Typographic Matchmaking in the City: the Film follows the 5 teams of Dutch and Arab designers that participated in the project over a period of 18 months while they were traveling, working together, and presenting their work in progress to culturally and professionally diverse audiences. The film makes visible not only the design process, the struggles and challenges of the designers, but also addresses the larger topics of bringing two cultures into a dialogue through design. The personalities of the designers show through their collaborative process, discussions, interactions and the final design outcomes. the film gives a very humane and personal portrait of the process of creation and creativity."

On the 26t of May, the "Brave New World" exhibiton took place in the Ara Gallery in Dubai. A group of students from the American University in Dubai tried to interpret these three words and to preceive their own "Brave New World" in their work.

The Exhibiton was created by the senior class of the 2010 visual communication department of the American University in Dubai. Our NAD Designer, Waleed Bahadi, was one of the participants in the exhibition.

Glad to have you aboard. Congrats on the work.
