"Nokia HumanForm was created in a joint effort to translate the most promising new nanotechnologies into meaningful user experiences, in order to create real devices and set goals for future product portfolios.
The project is a key step towards bringing significant user experience benefits to the market, enabled by nanotechnology. Nokia HumanForm is a visionary solution for a dynamically flexible device for uses beyond touch screen and voice communication where technology is invisible and intuition takes over. Natural interactions are enabled with a kinetic user interface."

Puma has developed another product through its Sustainability Program: PUMA.safe.
It is a bag that, in contact with warm water, dissolves in 3 minutes.
Even outdoors, the decomposition time is much smaller when compared to other bags made from petroleum: 3 months.
It breaks down very easily due to its composition fully made of biodegradable plastic based on corn starch.
But there is a question ... will it melt in the rain?

nice invention,
but What about the water we spend?...
I still prefer paper or fabric bags to reuse

David's Bowen tele-present water is an installation in Poland. It is a physical kinetic sculpture that re-creates the movement of waves.
This installation draws information from the intensity and movement of the water in a remote location. Wave data is being collected in real-time from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration data buoy station 46075 Shumagin Islands Alaska (53°54'39" N 160°48'21" W).
The wave intensity and frequency is scaled and transferred to the mechanical grid structure resulting in a simulation of the physical effects caused by the movement of water from this distant location.

In a near future, packaging will be connected to eCoupled. This is a low-cost enhancement to product packaging and it has a wireless power integrated into the packaging. It also allows the consumer and supplier to see all the informations related to the product (product quantities, expiration dates, stocks). People will automatically have an up-to-date grocery list at them fingertips the next time they're out shopping.
